The Delta Chinatown Initiative team is an all-volunteer run organization and receives no monetary compensation. 100% of donation proceeds will go directly towards the expense of these campaigns.
Safety in Chinatown — Security Cameras Campaign
We believe public safety for Chinatown's residents, businesses, and visitors are critical to enabling economic recovery of the neighborhood. 100% of your donation will to towards the purchase, installation, and ongoing maintenance of security cameras along multiple corridors in Chinatown.
We began in March 2021 to install security cameras throughout Chinatown. Phase 1 was completed in August of 2021 completed, and Phase 2 was completed in June of 2022.
Phase 1: Security cameras were installed in 2021 at the most trafficked corridors through a collaboration with Chinatown Merchants Association and SF Safe.
Phase 2: A second network of security cameras were installed on side streets and allyways.

The Mahjong Movement
We started the Mahjong Movement in 2023 to provide a space to build community, as one way to combat the dehumanizing senseless violence against Asian Americans, particularly our seniors who are often unseen.
Our events are free and open to the public. All levels of mahjong players are welcome, and no experience is needed - we will teach you!
